For over 40 years I have searched, to find a God of Love, I have searched with all my heart & found him deep within myself. This same God of Love, lives in all man- kind, He loves us all the same. We can all have this same relationship, with Him. All it takes is a heart that will to seek Him. This is part of my vision, is to show the way back to God is Love, truth of His word.
- I had a ministry in the Men’s State prison in Douglas, AZ. For 10 yrs. I was working full time & traveled 600 miles round trip every month & went to the 4 units in the prison. I found it rewarding & seen many hearts turn to the Lord to change them so they may become productive citizens & the Father, Husband God intended them to be. It’s all about change.
These men & women in these prison’s serve their time. It is when they are released the true battle begins. They are released back to the streets, without accommodation’s many times, no money, need to report the same day to the parole officer. Some may have families they are released to. But all have a record & jobs are hard to find. Many go back to friends that helped them to go to jail in the first place. Recidivism rate is over 80%.
I want to have a place they can come to under a 6mos or 1 yr. program. Have jobs available for them, they can be paid for their labor & receive it when leaving the program. If they have families, we can help the adjustments upon their leaving the facility. Giving weekly visitation with families.
Help them to return to school for further education or a new trade. While on the program they will attend meetings for council & help them to change the attitudes that brought them into the prison system. Change the recidivism rate, no more second, third or fifth times in prison.
In my community we have so much poverty. I want to set up an office that will work with the welfare system. So many people, families that live from week to week. Some living in their cars, or cannot pay their rent & will be homeless, can’t pay the utilities bills, whatever the need is. We will have people that will evaluate their situations. To be able to give them a hand up & not the hand out. This work is a tremendous need to help rid this poverty mentality.
- In my work of just learning the way of love, I had much training. I went to Africa & went to 3 countries. I saw such wonderful people with much love. I saw their poverty, their very needs for survival, I have such a heart to help them, but it takes money. I saw the great need for wells. How they had to walk miles for just some drinking water. They need wells. I am in touch still with contacts there, I have contacts, these people are genuine & want to help their people. I want to go back & pursue their dream with them. One pastor over twenty yrs. now travels to 4 countries, we have the people for this, we need the financing.
